Soullions are a united race of various beings, that once battled each other for Soullus. But ever since the rise of the Void Empire forces followed by the mysterious merceless Cyraknids and then the Chaos Plague, which exterminated the Cyraknids, the Federation joined forces to fight for the common good. It was only through using the Dragonov were the Soullions able to defeat the Chaos Plague and right their wrongs against each other.

The technology the Soullions possessed was given to by the Freemens, an ancient superhuman race, rumoured to have been defeated by the very Cyraknid race that the Freemens created. But the truth of the matter is that the Soullions and Freemens were actually the creations of the very Cyraknids themselves when Cyraknids were still ascended benevolent beings from the heavens before their unknown extinction. The cultural history behind the Soullion world is very rich and diverse.

Sentry Platform

The sentry platform acts as a watch out point in space, taking out a few fighters within acquisition. They are not designed to take on ships any larger than a frigate. Sentry platforms are cheap and effective anti-fighter defenses.

Used to counter heavily armoured bombers, the missile platform will still need to be used in conjunction with sentry platforms against fast moving fighters. In some rare circumstances, missile platforms are effective against frigates.

Bomber

The bomber is equipped with various sorts of weapons, from gattling guns to missile pods with good endurance. It is the most effective fighter against frigates and can shredd torn down capital ships in seconds. In dog fights, they are quite effective against slow moving enemy fighters.

Phoenix Fighter

Fitted with versitile weapons and armoured with high tech defenses, this humanoid engagement suit changes the art of dog fighting. Equipped with an elite beam weapon, a team of these engagement suits can easily engage a fleet of frigates with ease. Enemy missile weapons will have a hard time locking on, not because of the Phoenix's agility, but also their missile jamming systems. It also has stealth systems to aid it in its tactical retreat. Having a support carrier nearby for repair when the Phoenix's shield is destroyed gives the Phoenix massive advantage over the battlefield!

Missile Frigate

A missile frigate uses a revolving battery system that allows it to discharge multiple fast paced missile projectile rounds at their target in a ready-fire-aim approach. It can also launch a destructive refined nuclear warhead at its target that, once hit, deals conitnuous damage to it. Equipped with simple anti fighter guns and auto repair system gives the missile frigate a fighting chance against a small squadron of enemy fighters. All this makes the missile frigate a simple, effective, cheap and enduring frigate in the Soullion fleet.

Gun Fighter

The gunfighter has evolved into one of the most effective fighter units in the Soullion empire. Using shockwave cannons that cause a flak effect, they have the upper hand over some fighters of other races. Shockwave cannons however have weak penetration power and are useless against armoured/shielded frigates and capital ships.

Artillery Frigate

Deployed at the end of the battlefield and attacking in stealth with the element of surprise, the artillery frigate launches an asteroid like particle with its massive frontal cannon. The projectile launched is slow and clumsy. But if it does successfully hit its target, nearby enemy ships will also be effected by the blast. Because it is basically a giant asteroid launcher, it is deadly vulnerable against incoming enemy fighters. While it is equipped with an anti-fighter gattling gun, it is surely useless against a squadron of them. Artillery frigages require support fighters to defend it.

Line Defender Frigate

Line defender frigates main role is to take on enemy fighters of various shapes and sizes. It is over-equipped with anti-fighter blast cannons. And for faster enemy fighters, it uses the tractor beam to slow it down long enough for its main cannons to engage and destroy it. Any disengaging fighters will barely survive its retreat against the line defenders pin point multi-missile battery. While line defenders lack armour due to its over exposed weaponary platforms and are not large enough to generate its own defense shield, an expert repair system ensures that it is well maintained to maximise its combat effectiveness.

Assault Frigate

An assault frigate is one of the most fearsome and deadly frigates in the Soullion fleet. Designed by the Bulkhan forces who value strength and armour over agility, the assault frigate is almost impenetrable to even enemy capital ships. It uses Freemen based technology on the elements of its armour. And for that reason, this frigate has been seen to destroy cruisers and carriers alike and is classifed as a destroyer class to some other races. It consists 8 specialized heavy destroyer cannons redesigned to fit on this frigate. Basic anti fighter cannons and a blast wave used to effectively destroy incoming enemy fighters. It is an awesome frigate and is must for any frigate lover.

Destroyer

Designed by the Saharan's to compete with Bulkhan frigates, this destroyer possesses unique shield technology still experimental to the Soullion fleet. As it is experimental, the hull of this destroyer becomes weak once shields are down. Until it goes down, destroyers can deliver a deadly arsenal of salvo missiles, shockwave anti-capital ship cannons and anti-fighter shredder cannons. It is even equipped with an ion cannon to whether down enemy shields before it gets close enough to engage them with conventional weapons. Destoyers usually flank and protect carriers.

Battlecruiser

This fearless battlecruiser is joint designed by the Saharans and Bulkhans. The Bulkhans designed the hull, heavy weapons systems, such as the awesome Magnum cannons. The Saharans designed the the fire control systems, ECM jamming, and engine systems. The rest of the design originated from Freemen technology such as the cellular retaining armour. This  battlecruiser is the main fighting force of the Soullion empire. Its extreme expenditure makes up for its multi-role capabilities and taking on multiple enemy units at once, both fighters and frigates. In a one on one dreadnought standoff, the soullion battlecruiser is the best bet money can buy. Deploy them accordingly for maximum damage.

Super Phoenix (Elite)

The first Super Phoenix was once used together with the Dragonov in the Daemon wars to thwart the Plague by making a pact with the Demonlords in exchange for the Freeman pilot's soul. Legend says the pilot will rise again with his engagement suit, but reborn as a godly Demon Phoenix.

Until then, the Soullion Empire has reproduced these Freeman based, fleet killing elite units using rare to come by resources. The Super Phoenix is designated to engage dreadnoughts and capital ships. Frigates fall prey to this predator and fighters are deemed useless parasites.  Armed to the teeth, the Super Phoenix is equipped with a powerful anti-capital ship beam cannon, dual rapid firing blasters, anti-fighter head mounted machine gun and hardbeam hybrid laser, and multi chaff/anti tracking grenades, is the reason why the Super Phoenix is an all-rounded deadly versitile engagement suit to any enemy fleet. Lastly, it is equipped with a molecular vibro energy blade that  cuts through any dreadnought armour like butter, let alone slice fighters in half. Even though it is also equipped with an ancient heavy blast shield to absorb 80% of incoming impact making it almost invulnerable, the Super Phoenix is still a fast paced, flexible unit for its frigate like size.

Lost Future Destroyer (Elite)

Many hundreds of years later, one of Soullion's destroyers somehow retarded its dimensional warp back in time. Because  it is from the future, it has a married Dragonov and Cyraknid technology. It's twin blades discharge a similar effect to that of the Dragonov's and even uses Dragonov hard beam weaponary systems. The ship emits a Cyraknid based frequency that if not at the matching harmonics can quickly tear nearby objects apart. Because it uses a rare material to sheath itself (material that is in the wrong time-space continuoum), missiles are unable to lock onto it as if it wasn't there.  It's primary weapon is a medium cannon that fires pin precision rounds at very long range, homing on even the fastest enemy fighter. With this combination, enemy fleets will have near impossibilities to engage it in close combat.

Battlecruiser - Crucifer

A Crucifer is a heavy mobile weapons platform of various proportions. Three times more powerful than its little battlecruiser brother, it can pack a huge punch on enemy ships its size. Missiles, fire control systems, anti-fighter gattlings/flak/blasters, smart beam/beam cannons, ECM's, it's got it all.  Enemy armour too thick to penetrate? No problem, it's triple Trinity cannons will pierce though any armour like marshmellows on a pit stick. While it is a basically the ultimate mobile weapon, its encumbersome speed and bulk hull does not do justice to its logistics and defenses respectively. The Crucifer is built with elite armour laced with Freemen celluar retaining technology. So while the Crucifer is sluggish, it is a formiddable rival to be reckoned with. If the Crucifer was twice as large, it would be considered a Super Dreadnought, but time is an expensive commodity to mass produce these ships in such size.

Hammerhead (Super Dreadnought)

The Hammerhead is not a ship, it is a mobile fortress of death! Built by the Bulkhans, it is shaped as an anchor resembling a shield of the Soullion empire. Any slow moving enemy fleet will be crazy enough to directly attack it head on. Its long range confusing barrage of missile attacks ensure that impotent enemy frigates don't make it pass the first wave. Armoured enemy capital ships invulnerable to the first attack wave will be obliterated by the Hammerhead's heavy line of Trinity cannons in the second wave attack. Stock standard enemy fighters making it through all the wave of attacks will suffer a barrage of gattling attacks from the Hammerhead's anti-fighter gattling defenses in the third wave attack. Because of its size, the Hammerhead can also be equipped with a super weapon of its choice (ultra-ranged super rail cannon, extreme-ranged super ballistics cannon, long-ranged super trinity cannon), giving it a special zero wave attack, the most deadliest. The Hammerhead's characteristics include slow, heavy, armed and dangerous makes it a Defense Super Dreadnought.

Carrier - Excelsius

Evolved from the old carrier frames, but buffed up using Dragonov and Freeman technology, the Excelsius is a mobile multiple repair station to all friendly fighters large and small and ultimately defending returning friendly fighters from enemy fire.  The Excelsius is also equipped with specialized heavy cannons followed by shredder cannons to take on heavily armoured frigates, but is vulnerable to shielded capital ships. By the same token, the Excelsius is also equipped with a high performance specialized experimental Freeman shielding system and uses impressive Dragonov organic technology for its internal repair systems. All this to survive any battle long enough while providing ample repair services to fighters of all shapes and sizes.
